The date on an egg carton is a best by date. Provided they are refrigerated eggs will last 3-5 weeks past that date. While hard boiled eggs are good for one week.
The best place to store eggs is in the carton in the middle of the refrigerator.
If you are a hillbilly cook who enjoys camping take only enough hard boiled eggs that you will use in a week. Also, make sure the egg are stored in a ice chest.
