How to Slow Cooke Ham, Green Beans, and Potatoes

ham and beansHere is the recipe.2lbs of ham. 2lbs of green beans.4 baking potatoes (preferably Russets)  and one small onion.

Slice them in quarters or smaller.  Add them to the crock pot. Then add about a quarter of a cup water to prevent burning.

Now cook for about a hour to check see if the ingredients are tender. If not put some more water if needed then cook for another half a hour. You do not want to over cook the dish because it will be mushy.

One secret that Ms. Carter did not give out is that she uses the best quality ham and fresh vegetables.
